Origin & Production:
This elegant Pinot Noir hails from cooler-climate vineyards within the Stellenbosch appellation. Grapes are hand-harvested, sorted, and fermented in small open fermenters to ensure gentle extraction. Post-fermentation, the wine is aged in French oak barrels for 10–12 months, allowing subtle oak integration without overpowering the delicate varietal character.
Tasting Notes:
Bright red cherry, cranberry, and strawberry aromas dominate the nose, complemented by hints of rose petals and soft earthy tones. On the palate, juicy red fruits are balanced with fine tannins and refreshing acidity. Gentle notes of clove, tea leaf, and forest floor add complexity, leading to a graceful, lingering finish.
Serving Suggestion:
Serve slightly chilled at 14–16°C. Excellent with roast chicken, seared salmon, mushroom risotto, or charcuterie boards. Its light-bodied elegance makes it versatile across a wide range of dishes.
