Origin & Production:
Crafted in the prestigious Stellenbosch region of South Africa, Hazendal Chenin Blanc is produced from meticulously selected grapes grown in nutrient-rich soils with excellent drainage. The grapes are harvested at optimum ripeness to preserve natural acidity and concentrated fruit flavours. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to retain the variety’s vibrant aromatics, with a portion matured on fine lees to add depth and texture. This careful winemaking process results in a wine that reflects the estate’s dedication to quality and the Cape’s unique terroir.

Tasting Notes:
The bouquet opens with enticing aromas of ripe pear, quince, and tropical pineapple, underpinned by delicate floral notes. On the palate, layers of stone fruits such as peach and apricot are balanced by citrus zest and a touch of honey. The fine lees aging imparts a creamy mid-palate texture, while the refreshing acidity carries the flavours through to a clean, lingering finish.
