Origin & Production:
This Cape-grown blend brings together complementary white varieties from vineyards influenced by cool sea breezes and granite-based soils. Parcels are harvested in the early morning to preserve acidity. Components ferment separately in stainless steel at cool temperatures, with a judicious portion matured on fine lees or in well-seasoned oak to build mid-palate texture. The final blend aims for a balance of aromatic lift, layered fruit, and food-friendly structure that reflects a modern Stellenbosch sensibility.
Tasting Notes:
Aromas open with citrus blossom, green apple, and stone fruit layered over subtle vanilla custard and wet stone. The palate is medium-bodied and sleek. Lemon curd, white peach, and crisp pear glide into hints of lemongrass and almond cream. A line of saline-mineral freshness keeps the wine energetic. The finish is long and precise, echoing grapefruit pith and delicate herb.
Serving Suggestion:
Pour at 9–11 °C. Pair with grilled calamari, seared scallops, roast chicken with lemon and thyme, or creamy risotto. It also complements mild goat cheese and fresh herb salads, where the wine’s citrus-mineral core brightens each bite.
