Origin & Production:
This 21-year-old expression showcases The Balvenie’s mastery of cask finishing. Initially matured in traditional oak barrels and then finished in Port wood casks, it develops exceptional richness and depth. Each cask is hand-selected to ensure harmony between spirit and wood, resulting in an exquisite whisky of distinction.
Tasting Notes:
Deep amber in color, the whisky exudes aromas of ripe fruit, raisin, and nutty sweetness. The palate unfolds with layers of honey, dark chocolate, dried fig, and subtle oak spice. The finish is long, elegant, and velvety smooth, leaving behind notes of fruitcake and warm spice.
